Message	an old detail trick to cover them up for a good bit of time is to take some matching paint, Mix it with some liquid quick wax untill its dark enough to almost match the paint. Put a dab on a balled up rag and rub the area with chips. Let it dry for a few minutes (cool paint, do not do this on a hot surface) and then rub or buff off. Works great on big areas. Paint looks really good for being original.
